The Silfradent PV 200R is a 10 ml plain vacuum tube (also called dry tube), that is, without anticoagulant or separator gel. It is intended to collect the patient's blood and separate its components by centrifugation, for the preparation of platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) and CGF (Concentrated Growth Factor).
Without anticoagulant, centrifugation results in the formation of a solid fibrin clot that concentrates the platelets. PRP tubes with anticoagulant, on the other hand, yield a liquid plasma fraction.
The tube is a CE-marked class IIa medical device, compliant with Regulation (EU) 2017/745 (MDR). It is double gamma sterilised and supplied in individual sterile packaging.
The PV 200R is made of soda-lime borosilicate glass. It contains neither anticoagulant nor separator gel. The built-in vacuum allows direct blood collection.
